About Me

Olivia Bush has been a school counselor for Smith County High School since January 2019.  Before that, she taught high school math at Smith County for 11 years.  

Mrs. Bush loves all things Smith County High School and Owls!  She graduated from SCHS in 1993, and then attended Tennessee Technological University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Accounting.  Mrs. Bush worked as an Accountant for 10 years, but ultimately decided that her love of children and math was where  she wanted and needed to be.  Mrs. Bush has a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Carson Newman and an Ed.S. in School Counseling.

Mrs. Bush and her husband, Jason have been married since 2003 and have two wonderful children.  Hayden is a lineman with Middle Tennessee Electric Company.  Cambell is beginning her second year at Tennessee Technological University, majoring in Secondary Education-English.

Mrs. Bush is here to help all students, no matter the need!
