Annette Hord
Annette Nesbitt Hord graduated from SCHS in 199l and then continued her educational career at MTSU. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English/Secondary Ed. in December of 1996. She later received her Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership in August of 2009 and then a Specialist in Education with a major in Instructional Leadership in December of 2010. She has been married to Rob Hord for 30 years, and they have two children and 1 grandchild: Dr. Robin Anne Hord King (husband-Heston King), John Ross Hord (fiance-Rayne Grace), grandson-Treyson Ross King. Mrs. Hord has been in education for 25 years: teaching English at Gordonsville High School, Principal at Gordonsville High School, county-wide ELA Coach for grades 9-12, and Assistant Principal at Smith County High School since 2017.
