Fall and Year Students
Step 4: Submit the Online University of Florence Registration - Due April 20th
Students are required to submit an online registration.

You will need to refer to this Step by Step Guide for information on how to complete the Online University of Florence Registration.
You will need to upload a photo (.jpg), a copy of your passport (.jpg or .pdf), and the copy of the Studentesse Smith College letter sent to you via email.
Passport Photos
You will need a total of 10 photos: a digital copy for the University Registration process, one for your visa application, and eight to take with you to Florence. You may want to have all of the photos taken at one time.
Photos must be official passport photos taken against a plain background, without hats, smiles, etc. Your face should be between 32mm and 36mm high, from chin to top of head.If you have trouble getting the photo to the right dimensions in millimeters, the OIS has a cut out tool that can be used to ensure they are the right size.

IMPORTANT: You will need to sign the photo for your visa using BLUE INK. Please click on the sample below to see where on the photo you need to sign.

Once you have signed the photo for your visa application, leave it loose and submit it with the University Registration and Italian Visa application materials. Angelo Pisano will paste this to your application. Whatever you do, don't staple the photo!
