The University of Geneva (UNIGE) issues enrollment attestations once the student has completed all the steps listed below. This attestation is required for the Swiss Immigration Office to process and grant a visa. Without an enrollment attestation, the visa cannot be issued. It is therefore essential that students complete all the following steps on time.
During the summer, you will be contacted by the University of Geneva (mobility@unige.ch or Claire.Giordano@unige.ch) and you will receive a link to complete your enrollment. You should regularly check your email and are responsible for meeting deadlines. Smith College cannot be held responsible for missed steps in the visa application and university online registration process. If you encounter problems or have questions, please refer to the track B info session held in April or contact gpiron@smith.edu.
