Goals for the 2020 Coral Ed Team
This Summer 5 Smith Students and 4 professors set out to create remote education resources for students and educators in San Pedro, Belize. The Coral Reef Ed-Ventures program has been teaming up with the San Pedro community for over two decades to provide hands-on marine science summer camps for local youth. While we are missing the physical community of San Pedro, this remote format has given us the opportunity to broaden our experience with virtual education as well as prepare for future in-person camps.
