Categories and Eligibility for Submissions and Voting:
Categories and Eligibility for Submissions and Voting:
Students in these grades are eligible to submit art and vote for the following categories. Note: All schools may vote for the artwork, regardless of whether they have submitted artwork or not.
Elementary Students
- English Picture Books: Up to Grade 3
- Japanese Picture Books: Up to Grade 3
- English Chapter books: Any elementary school student
- Japanese Chapter books: Any elementary school student
- Graphic Novels: Any elementary school student
Middle School: students up to Grade 8
- English Middle School Books
- MS/HS Japanese Books
High School: Students in Grades 9-12
- English High School Books
- MS/HS Japanese Books
Note: Schools can submit 3 pieces of artwork for each category. All Sakura Medal Schools can participate.
