Intercultural Day

Fourth class participated in the Challenge to Change project this year.

The main aims of our project were to develop awareness of the shared values across our school community an to celebrate the many diverse traditions in our school community by hosting an intercultural day.

 A number of girls from each class travelled to Kilkenny as part of the project in April to showcase the work we were doing on behalf of the project.

On May 14th we held an Intercultural Day in our school where the girls showcased projects they completed on different countries around the world. The girls really enjoyed researching and creating quizzes to go alongside their presentations. All classes visited the Old Hall to see the projects and hear the girls present their work. The highlight for all was the GreenScreen which was set up on the stage.
