End of the Year Choir Updates 

-Rehearsals will continue as normal until our concert with the exception of Thursday, May 15th and Monday, May 19th. These two days will be combined rehearsals for both 5th and 6th graders to attend. As long as your student does not have another morning commitment (band or orchestra) please plan on having your singers attend both of these days before school regardless of grade level. If your student is in band or orchestra, I will talk to their directors about releasing them a little early so they can still practice with the large group.  

-Lakeview Spring Concert is Monday, May 19th at 7:00pm in the Lakeview gym. Please have your singers arrive at 6:45 pm for a quick warm-up and to get in concert order. There will be no choir rehearsals following our choir concert, so please enjoy a few later mornings as the school year comes to a close.  

-On Thursday, May 22nd Lakeview will have an All School Music Assembly where our choir, band, and orchestra students get to perform for the whole student body! No worries if your student is in multiple ensembles as all of our directors work together to make everything run smoothly. I always love seeing how many choir students are involved in multiple parts of our music program in Stow Munroe Falls! This assembly performance will happen right after morning announcements.

I also want to thank you for all that you do! I wouldn't be able to do what I love without your dedication and encouragement to your singers, and for that I am so grateful! I am SO looking forward to showing off your singers' hard work at our Spring Concert! 

2024/2025 Rehearsal Schedule 

*6th Grade Choir will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30-8:20 am starting January 27th

*5th Grade Choir will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-8:20 am starting January 28th 

*There is not a registration form to join choir. Students will be dropped off at door number 2 for their scheduled rehearsal days; this is the door facing Graham Road. For all our students' safety, please drive around the building using the designated car route to drop off your student. Students will then immediately report to Mrs. Oberschlake's room to check-in and from there they will be signed up for choir.

Concert Dress: 

Choir students will be responsible for purchasing a choir t-shirt to wear at choir concerts. Order forms will be passed out during choir rehearsals. Keep an eye on the website for updates on due dates. Along with the t-shirts, students will be required to wear black bottoms. This could be dress pants or appropriate length skirts.
