Throughout the school year, students in 7th grade Regents Science will learn about various topics in both Physical Science and Life Science. They are taking both 7th and 8th grade science in one year to prepare for taking Regents Living Environment (high school biology) in 8th grade.

Topics in physics include motion, forces, work and machines, energy, electricity, magnetism, and waves. Topics in chemistry include chemical and physical changes, atomic structure, periodic table, and compounds. Topics in life science include cells, genetics, human biology, ecology, and evolution.
