Virtual Field Day 2020

Good day, Parents and Students,

I hope everyone is having a great ending to the school year. We WILL have our SMdP Field Day this year…….virtually!!

Here are a few things you need to know:

● On either Monday, June 22 or Tuesday, June 23, pick an outdoor activity that you can easily accomplish at home. Some ideas may include: a timed sprint in the yard, measurement of a football thrown as far as you can, doing an exercise such as jumping jacks, trying to balance water in a pot that must be walked a distance to fill a new pot in a timed race….. YOU make the rules! Whatever you decide to do, it should be something that can be measured or counted. Then, try and beat your best score!

● Document (take photos/ video clip) of yourself playing your activity/ sport to document your score.

● Email your photos and video clips to: DReyman@SMdPschool.net. Please also include Mr. Viceroy on the email, using: GViceroy@SMdPschool.net

A FEW SIMPLE RULES:

1. All students participating in this year's Virtual Field Day MUST wear their SMdP gym uniform (or other appropriate activewear/sportswear).

2. All family members and friends participating or helping MUST wear appropriate clothing.

3. Everyone MUST follow appropriate and applicable safety/COVID19 guidelines. Masks should be worn as needed.

4. Have FUN, be CREATIVE & maintain SAFETY!
