Behavior Policy:

Class rules:

1. Follow directions quickly.

2. Raise your hand for permission to leave your desk.

3. Raise your hand for permission to speak.

4. Listen when others are talking.

5. Only use kind words.

6. Make smart choices.

Mass Behavior:

The students are encouraged to participate in Mass through prayer and song. Playing and visiting with friends will result in points taken off of weekly conduct grade and a clip down.

Weekly Conduct Grade and Consequences:

Each day all students start on “Green-Ready to Learn”. When caught being good, that student will move their clip up to “Purple-Good Choices” or “Pink-Great Job.” If a rule is broken, the student will move their clip down to “Yellow-Slow Down.” They will have 5 minutes of slow down time where minutes will be taken off of recess or free time. This will also result in 5 points taken off of the behavior grade. If rules continue to be broken, the student will move their clip to “Red- Stop.” This will result in 8 points taken off the behavior grade. If misbehavior continues, an additional 2 points per infraction will be taken off of the behavior grade. Serious infractions will automatically result in a call home.

You will receive a conduct sheet every Friday. Please sign and return on Monday. The grade for the week is determined by daily behavior. Each child will start the week with a 100A.
