School Uniform

Since Sept. 8, 1998, in accordance with P.V.N.C.C.D.S Board Policy, all students at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School
shall wear school clothing in accordance with our formal uniform requirements. 

Students shall adhere to our formal dress code at all times as follows:

Clothing:

• The school colours are navy blue, white, and hunter green. All formal uniforms must be purchased from R.J. McCarthy Ltd. All students at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School must be in uniform throughout the entire school day including at lunch.  

Body jewellery and accessories:

• For safety reasons, all body jewellery (rings, earrings, chains) must be removed during physical education classes and sports.  Administration reserves the right to ban jewellery, makeup and accessories that are deemed unacceptable to the moral tone of the school.

Headgear (e.g. hats, headbands, handkerchiefs, bandanas etc.):

• All of the above items are to be kept in the locker at all times. Administration reserves the right to rule on any item considered headgear.  Items are to be stored in the locker upon arrival at a school and removed from the locker only when the student is leaving the school.
