I have been teaching 2nd grade at SMCS since the 2018-2019 school year. I did my teacher preparation field work and worked as a teacher assistant here at the school before this. I have experience in early childhood special education and in teaching internationally.

I am originally from northern Maine. I graduated magna cum laude and earned my B.A. with distinction from Colby College. I am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. I went on to complete the post-baccalaureate TeacherReady Educator Preparation Institute program to prepare for classroom teaching. I am certified to teach elementary education (K-6).

I love teaching children in school and in the church, and actually first taught Vacation Bible School and Children's Liturgy back when I was in High School Youth Ministry myself. When not at school, I am often painting, drawing, playing board games, or walking my dog, Jack.

I love teaching young children. Helping students to learn, discover, and explore is my vocation and I feel blessed to do so in the Saint Mark Catholic Church & School community. I am committed to helping my students develop responsibility, communication and leadership skills that will help them become thinkers and life-long learners. I look forward to going on this journey with you to help develop the potential of your children to help them achieve their goals and dreams.
