My name is Camilla McWilliams. I am in my 28th year of teaching. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught Pre-K through third grade. I am very excited to be at St. Mark Catholic School in this role as a resource teacher.
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland. I attended Towson University for my undergrad and graduate studies. I have a Masters in Reading Education and I am Orton-Gillingham trained.
In 2005, I moved to Charlotte, NC with my husband and two sons. Once our boys were finished college and living on their own, my husband and I made plans to move closer to the beach. We finally decided that Wilmington, NC was our chosen destination, and we moved here in March 2020. We love Wilmington and all it has to offer! In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, kayaking, going to the beach, and discovering the arts and culture of Wilmington.
My goal is to instill a love of learning in all students and to help them become more confident in their abilities. I try to make educational experiences relevant to the students and provide them in a fun and interactive way.
