About Miss S

Hello! 

I moved to NC from Alexandria, VA over the summer and am so excited to be here. I have experience in  various grade levels over my 11 years of teaching - including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. My favorite subjects to teach are math and social studies. I earned my Master's degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from James Madison University.

In my free time, I love to relax on the beach, go for long walks, practice barre/ballet, watch movies, craft, and play board games with my family. I also have a cat named Lola. 

My faith is so important to me and I hope to instill in each student the knowledge that God loves them - unconditionally and eternally. The more we learn about our faith, the better we can live our faith!
