The Southern Maryland Summit workgroups were formed in 2023 to create a sustainable, mutually beneficial partnership among local public school systems, higher education partners, and other stakeholders. The AIB Strategic Facilitator, Amy Morton, facilitated meetings from 2023 through 2025. St. Mary's County Public Schools continues to utilize its AIB Strategic Facilitator, Dr. Jeffrey Maher, to carry this work forward through 2026.
