Course and content offerings will be determined by each school site based on student needs and staffing.
This includes:
Reading/English Language Arts and Mathematics at the elementary level
Core Content Areas at the secondary level (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies)
The four-week curriculum is built using the priority standards identified for each grade level in both Mathematics and English/Language Arts. Summer recovery for students in Grades K-2 will have both an in-person and virtual synchronous option.

The core subject areas - Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science curricula provide the focus for summer recovery. Summer recovery for students in Grades 6-8 will have both an in-person and virtual synchronous option. The four-week curriculum will be built in the Schoology platform using the priority standards identified for each content area. High school credit-bearing courses, such as Algebra 1, Spanish, and Foundations of Computer Science, will be offered asynchronously utilizing the Edgenuity platform for original credit or course recovery.
Courses that were taken by students and failed provide the focus for summer recovery. Summer recovery for high school students will have an in-person option. The in-person courses will mostly consist of those courses required for graduation.
