MASC Advance – a three-day event with optional overnights  – open to all secondary student leaders in Maryland.

• Costs: Monday: $23; Tuesday: $31; Wednesday: $20

Fall Leadership Conference SY 2026-2027

The first conference of the year is MASC’s annual Fall Leadership Conference. Participating in this conference helps students hone their leadership skills while meeting other student leaders from across the state.  Advisors from member and non-member schools may register students to attend this event.

Legislative Session SY 2026-2027

MASC’s Legislative Session is the Student Member on the Board of Education (SMOB) spotlight.  The conference will include the selection of the two final nominees for the state SMOB and highlight our SMOBs around the state.  Additional business will include the review/update of MASC’s Platform and an opportunity to learn about youth-related bills in the Maryland General Assembly.

MASC Convention SY 2025-2026

Join us for the annual MASC Convention, a dynamic event designed to inspire and empower student leaders from across the state! Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a nationally recognized motivational speaker who will set the stage for an engaging and transformative experience. Participants will dive into grade-level workshops, allowing for deeper discussions and tailored insights from our distinguished speaker. The convention will also feature exciting student-led leadership workshops, promoting creativity and collaboration among peers. To balance learning with fun, there will be a variety of recreational activities designed to foster team building and help participants get to know one another better.

Action In Middle School (AIMS) SY 2025-2026

This will be an informative session tailored for 6th and 7th graders who want to share ideas about school projects, activities, and issues.  It is also a great opportunity to learn more about MASC.
