UPCOMING SERVICE EVENTS:

Math Night at Carver Elementary, Thursday 11/21, 5:30-7:30 My name is Jordon Friedman and I'm the Center Director of the Mathnasium in Lexington Park. I'm reaching out because we are in dire need of 15-20 volunteers for a Math Night we've been invited to hold at GW Carver Elementary School next Thursday, 11/21, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Volunteers will be playing elementary school-level math and logic games with elementary school students. We will need volunteers at the school from 5:00 pm (to help set up and learn the games) to 7:30 pm (to help clean and pack up). Any students interested can reach out to me via email at californiamd@mathnasium.com, where I can give them more details and instructions.

Leonardtown Middle School- Book Fair- Dec 9 - 13. There are shifts for volunteers during the school day if you have early release OR on Wed. evening. Mrs. Haynes is your contact and can sign your form.

REMINDERS: Service and Leadership forms must be downloaded and completed electronically then printed. NO HANDWRITTEN OR EMAILED FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. All parts of the packet must be submitted together in the folders provided.

The Selection of New Members process by the Faculty Council will commence after packets have been submitted and had an initial review for anonymity in letters and packet completion. All potential candidates will be sent an email (to their SMCPS email account) with the status of their candidacy by November 15th. See Mrs. Watson in person if you do not receive an email!
