The first tryout for the 2025 Fall Season will be held on Wednesday, August 13th from 6:30-7:30pm. Check-in begins at 6:15pm. The second tryout will be held on Thursday, August 14th from 5:30-7:30pm. Players must attend both tryouts in order to be eligible for the team. In the event that one of those dates gets cancelled due to inclement weather, we will have an additional tryout, time and date TBD.
Please be sure to update all of your athlete's information in Family ID before tryouts, as that is a requirement to be eligible. Plan to bring 64 oz. of water, shin guards, running shoes, cleats, and a soccer ball to tryouts.
Fitness Tests:
Fitness Test #1 -- Shuttle Run Test. No Minimum Requirement -- players will be evaluated on their ability to complete as many levels as possible with the maximum being 10 shuttles.
Fitness Test #2 -- 1-Mile Time Trial: players will be expected to complete a 1-Mile run in 6 minutes or less. If players are unable to run a 6 minute mile they are NOT automatically cut from the team. However, if a player makes the Varsity team without achieving a 6 minute mile at tryouts, they will be unable to participate in a Varsity match until they are able to do so.
***Although these fitness tests do not directly result in a cut from the team if players fail to meet the minimum expectation, the fitness tests DO factor into the evaluation of the players made by the coaching staff.
***Team selection and cuts are exclusively the decision of the coaching staff and based upon evaluation at tryouts alone.
