We have always championed the rich history of Great Mills High School. It opened on September 5, 1927 as a combined elementary and high school. The first commencement was held in 1929. It is considered the oldest high school still operating in Southern Maryland. As we look to commemorate 100 years, we are looking for feedback and volunteers.
