Here at Hollywood, we are so fortunate to have a Military and Family Life Counselor, Kathleen "Sully" Sullivan. Ms. Sully, as she is known by our students, is an excellent resource for our miltary families. The Military and Family Life Counselor helps military families and children navigate challenges by providing free confidential non-medical counseling services to children and youth via formal groups, lunch bunches and individually. Students must obtain permission to work with Ms. Sully. If you are interested in having your child receive support or have any additional questions please reach out to Ms. Sully at 301-373-4350 ext. 30121.
Another excellent resource for our military families is Mrs. Dawn Simpson. Mrs. Simpson is the School Liaison Officer at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. Her contact information is dawn.m.simpson16.nag@us.navy.mil or by phone 202-330-3093.

Welcoming Our Military Students!
Hollywood is a proud Anchored4Life school. Anchored4Life is a peer-to-peer clu that connects youth that are going through changes in life. This club is responsible for greeting our new students upon their arrival at HES. New students are given a school wide tour and welcomed bag by student leaders. Along with answering questions or concerns they have along the way.
Most of our A4L Team Leaders have military connections and were on the receiving end of this tour in the past. This could be a great leadership opportunity for your student(s) in the future as well!
Maryland State and Federal Resources- If you are new to the state this resource could be beneficial to learn about military benefit in Maryland.
