Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy

Great Mills Comic Con’s mission is to create a safe and entertaining environment where fans of all kinds can come together. As such, we have a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to; making unwanted and/or discriminatory advances on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, physical appearance, age, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal or state laws, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcomed sexual attention or other verbal or physical conduct of a discriminatory nature, or by creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment by engaging in such conduct.

If you feel you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Great Mills Comic Con staff immediately (identifiable by staff badges). The Great Mills Comic Con staff has the ability to contact security or local law enforcement, and can provide escort, or otherwise assist those feeling they have experienced harassment to ensure they feel safe for the duration of the convention.

No individual shall be intimidated, threatened, coerced, or discriminated against for filing a complaint, furnishing information, or for participating in any manner in an investigation or any other activity related to the administration of the laws and regulations and/or this policy to ensure the appropriate treatment of all who come to the Great Mills Comic Con.

The Great Mills Comic Con staff has sole discretion in determining what constitutes harassment under this policy and reserves the right to take immediate action against anyone who violates this policy, up to and including expulsion from Great Mills Comic Con (with no refund).

All Attendees, Exhibitors, Sponsors, Associates, and Guests of the Great Mills Comic Con are subject to this zero tolerance harassment policy.
