All competitors MUST complete an online, proctored knowledge test.  Please come to my room either Monday (4/13) or Tuesday (4/14) with a charged laptop to complete the test.  It will take about 15 minutes, and the study guide is on the link at the top of this page.  50 point deduction for not completing the test.  (If you need to make other arrangements, like coming in after school or during lunch, email Ms. Thompson mkthompson@smcps.org.)

You MUST bring a printed copy of your resume to the competition this weekend.

Please review your clothing requirements for your competition.  If you need specific clothing, like a blazer or scrubs, please come see me Mon-Wed to check them out.  Email me with questions or concerns.  Note: The SkillsUSA emblem does not need to be on clothing, but it still must follow the standards exactly.  

All permission forms and payment MUST be submitted no later than Tuesday at 3 pm.  If I do not have either, and you have not made prior arrangements, you will not be allowed to participate BUT will still be responsible for the money.

Alternate travel form:  If there is any possibility that you will be dropped off or picked up from the conference, you MUST have that filled out and given to Ms. Thompson BEFORE Wednesday.  There will be NO exceptions.  If the form is filled out and it turns out a parent does not pick you up, you can still ride the bus home.  All adults picking up students must show a valid ID and match the alternate form. 

If you have materials and tools, they must be in Ms. Thompson's room by 12 pm Noon on Thursday, April 16, to be transported to the conference.
