Digital Media Production explores the history of radio and television. Through hands-on learning students gain the skills to create a variety of authentic video projects, from script writing to shooting video to editing. This is a communication program requiring team collaboration, writing and public interaction. Jobs using the skills learned in this program include public information and marketing specialists, broadcast journalists, studio crew, corporate and governmental media producers, live event A/V techs and social media coordinators. Fine Arts credit is available after completing the second year.
