Applied Technology Exploration (ATEx) is a two-credit ELECTIVE course offered at the Forrest Center to 9th and 10th-grade students. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to do an in-depth EXPLORATION of four Forrest Center programs, one per marking period. Courses are taught at an introductory level. They are an overview of the program and the career field. Students will also participate in career exploration activities and learn employability skills. When students apply, they will be asked to choose 6 programs to explore, and they will be placed in 4 of them.

The ATEx application is separate from the general program application.
