Tutorials

The majority of course activities are learning modules, and the central activity of any learning module is the tutorial.

In a tutorial, students learn through a series of engaging slides and questions designed to teach everything they need to know. Throughout, they’ll be presented with knowledge checks and lesson activities – these help to apply the skills they’re learning in the tutorial to deepen understanding and put it all together.

Tutorials also contain other helpful elements:

• New terms that are linked to the glossary for quick definitions.

• Phrases that are linked to pop-ups. Some of these may ask guiding questions or offer deeper context.

• From the toolbar, students can navigate to a different section of the tutorial, access lesson resources such as worksheets or guided notes, get dictionary definitions, hear slide narrations and use interactive features such as highlighter and translation tools.
