Welcome, High School Seniors! The scholarships through St. Mary's BECA (Business, Education, and Community Alliance) are provided by those in our local area who care about your success and want to support you in your future. This site provides information for you about applying for scholarships.

BECA’s Scholarship Fair, via Zoom from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

January 7-31
Locate a method to scan all Supporting Information documents into a single pdf. This is required for the application. Don’t wait until the last minute. You may possibly use your phone camera, but make sure the pdf is perfectly readable. A copier/scanner is preferable.
Request Letters of Recommendation from an academic person and a community person who know you well.
January 1-25
You should file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) no later than this date so you will have your Student Aid Report (SAR) in time to complete the Common Scholarship Application. Go to http://www.fafsa.gov.) The online 2023 FAFSA Application has been available since October 1, 2022.
February 17
All parts of the application are due and are submitted electronically. No paper documents accepted. See how to submit your information
March 10
By this date, BECA copies and distributes your application to scholarship providers where you have indicated you wish to apply. During April, the individual providers select the winners of their scholarships and notify them. Interviews of finalists will be held by some scholarship providers. You should frequently check the email address and voice mail number you provided for requests for interviews and notification of awards.
April 10
Scholarship Providers will notify students of their award on or before this date. See the BECA website for a list of scholarship providers who have notified BECA of their selection.
