learn what mindfulness is and its foundational meditation practices.
practice mindfully with the community.
be in a quiet space for reflection, sharing, and prayer.
tap into your inner resources for peace, wellbeing, and healing.
practice mindful movement regardless of what your body is or is not capable of doing.
have time for personal reflection.
Come prepared ~
Wear comfortable clothing. We may go outside (optional) if the weather permits.
Bring a water bottle and a small snack.
Bring a notebook and pen for journalling for personal reflection.
Ginny Wholley, Retreat Leader ~
Ginny has taught mindfulness skills to thousands of people over three decades. She trained at the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School and is certified to teach MBSR, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, through Brown Universities’ School of Public Health. She teaches mindfulness programs for individuals and organizations most notably including: UMass Memorial Health, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dana Faber Cancer Institute, and the University of Pittsburg.
