Please find the timeline for the semester and the program below. You're not limited to these interactions! We appreciate you checking in with your mentee in between meetings and modeling professional communication.
January 13: First day of classes
January 15: Info session over Zoom
January 20: No classes, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 27-31: Outreach from mentee - introductions, goal setting, and scheduling all four meetings for the semester
February 3-14: Meeting 1: Conduct informational interview with mentee - mentee prepares questions, alumni mentor discusses goals of program for both
February 17-28: Meeting 2: Conduct professional document review - mentee prepares resume and cover letter, alumni mentor gives advice and suggestions
March 3-21: Meeting 3: Conduct mock interview - mentee provides job posting & professional documents, alumni mentor prepares questions
March 10-14: No classes, Spring Break
March 25: No classes, Advising Day and Career & Internship Fair
March 31-April 11: Meeting 4: Conduct final conversation (end of semester wrap-up) - please be aware there is flexibility for this date
April 11-18: Mentee will send thank you note to alumni mentor
April 25: Last day of classes
April 30-May 5: Finals for students
May 10: Graduation!
