Harvest Celebration

For the Harvest Festival Year 3 attended a Church service with all of Key Stage 2.  Each year group presented work they had completed in class about Harvest.  Year 3 looked at the harvest festival of Thanksgiving.  We created Harvest Wreaths in art to represent the corn and thought about what we were thankful for.

We said 5 things we were thankful for and learned the sign language for each one.  We then performed this in Church.

I am thankful that God gives me food.

I am thankful for my friends and family.

I am thankful that God provides for my needs.

I am thankful that God listens to and answers my prayers.

I am thankful that God loves me.
