I am blessed to be able to teach about Jesus Christ and His Church!  I am very aware of what a privilege this is and I certainly could not do this without the support of my husband with whom I have been married for 24 years.  Together we have 4 beautiful children-Elaina (23), Evan (21), William (17) and Kaitlyn (12).  I first worked in YOUTH MINISTRY volunteering at St. Andrew  parish in Saline, MI where I was eventually hired as an assistant CYM (Coordinator of Youth Ministries) while taking classes at Eastern Michigan for Communications and Sociology.  I eventually was hired in as a CYM at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Garden City in 2005 and continued youth ministry work until 2015 when I worked as a Director of Religious Education for grades K-8.   I attended Sacred Heart Major Seminary and obtained a B.A. in Pastoral Theology along the way.  I began teaching Middle School Religion at St. Raphael Catholic School in 2010.  After St. Raphael closed in 2016, my family moved to New Boston and I was hired at SMCC for my dream job of teaching HIGH SCHOOL TEENS! My goal is to help students learn Church teachings, think about God in their lives, be open to a relationship with Jesus and to always search for ways that God may be calling them to serve on a daily basis.  Feel free to contact me at ANY TIME if you have any questions or concerns!
