Starting Sunday, December 1, our Order of Worship will be printed separately from the weekly bulletin. Through this change, we hope to make participating in Mass easier and less distracting for everyone, while simultaneously encouraging all attendees to take their bulletin home after Mass to read and use any time during the week, without feeling obligated to leave it behind for later Mass times.
Furthermore — the added space in the bulletin will be used to offer more enriching content to our parishioners and visitors, such as information about current events and insightful articles from our clergy, staff and around the diocese.
The routine at weekend Masses will stay nearly the same, being only slightly modified:
From now on, when you come to weekend Mass, instead of a bulletin, you'll be able to pick up a separate Order of Worship — containing only the readings, music and prayers for Mass — from the entrances as you walk in.
When Mass is over, our ushers will distribute our weekly bulletin as all are leaving, for you to take home.
We pray these changes will have a positive impact on your participation in the liturgy and on our communication with you. Though they might take a slight getting used to, the benefits promised are great in comparison. Thanks to everyone for your cooperation!
Laudate Dominum! Praise the Lord!
