We make our Customers Projects Look Amazing
QUALITY ON A PROJECT CANNOT BE COMPROMISED!
Smart Energy Insulation has best in class quality. To have the level of quality we offer, we center our business around the best people, materials, and technology available in the industry. What sets us apart from the competition is the drive to do it better.
Think about this: If a system is not insulated with quality in mind and does not meet the minimum requirements outlined in the specifications, the system will not perform to the satisfaction set forth by the designer of the mechanical system. For instance, if the material is not installed with a continuous vapor barrier on a chilled water system, there is an increased chance of condensation in humid conditions.
THE PEOPLE
A skilled workforce is the secret to any successful business and our business is no exception. We select individuals that are passionate about the quality of their work and how it reflects on the job. Quality starts in the planning phase of the project with the estimator/project manager and then migrates to our field personnel that are installing the insulation. Their work is the final art form that will represent our company. If the application of insulation does not look to be of a quality nature it reflects negatively on the company. As a result, we have a detailed Quality Assurance & Control Program (QACP) that uses the extensive training on application and processes our employees have received.
One may ask, what is the difference between quality assurance and quality control? In essence, quality assurance is “prevention over inspection” and “DIRFT – Do It Right the First Time”. At the heart of these two concepts lies the idea that everything we produce should be produced defect free from the start, because it’s more costly to fix an error afterwards. Quality assurance therefore encompasses the processes that are aimed at preventing any defects and quality control is the measurements we have in place to detect and repair any remaining defects.
How does Smart Energy Insulation assure that our insulation is installed defect free? Simple, we have an appropriate processes in place; processes that are aimed at helping insulate without defects every time. Because there will always be some deviation from even the best processes, we also have inspections in place. These measure the results after the fact, so that we can make adjustments if necessary.
THE MATERIALS
In addition to great people you also need great materials to build a quality project. As a result, below are a couple of our mainstream material manufacturers we use on a regular basis.

THE TECHNOLOGY
Smart Energy Insulation also uses the best Technology the industry has to offer. From our accounting and controls for job costing to our project management and estimating and take-off software, we strive to unify all systems. With the nature of construction having it’s employee’s scattered throughout multiple regions, collaborative cloud-based tools are becoming increasingly demanding. The end result is all foreman on our jobs have digital tablets using digital collaboration software to communicate field data, such as time tracking, material, quality, and safety issues. This technology allows our process to be more flexible, with the ability to make field changes remotely.
