Do you love scones? We do! George has been making these butter and sour cream based scones for years, and they are always just perfect! These aren't the super-sweet, iced American-style dessert scones. These are a traditional English style, intended to enjoy with your favorite beverage, as a compliment to a savory breakfast, or topped with a delicious jam, butter, lemon curd or devon cream.
The Traditional Scone is the base recipe, and each flavor variation has added fruits, nuts or natural flavors as selected. The recipe has been perfected, all flavors are balanced and delectable. They are always a hit whenever he makes them. You can be confident in the quality of these scones! You can choose either Full size (4-5 bites) or Half size scones (2-3 bites). The scones are made to order and ship fresh. The scones freeze and re-heat well for future events, or if you would like to just take them out of the freezer one four-pack at a time for you to enjoy. To freeze just put the sealed packs into a larger ziploc-style freezer bag. Remove from freezer and leave on counter to thaw. To heat for serving, wrap in a paper towel and heat gently, 12-15 seconds in microwave at a time. They can also be warmed in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
