He earned his Master’s degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where he was awarded the Gold Medal in 2022 for academic excellence. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2020 with a B.A. in Economics and Military Science from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU).
Akash has developed strong methodological skills, with advanced proficiency in econometric and statistical tools such as EViews, STATA, and MS Office. He has been actively involved in student governance at IIT Madras, serving as a Research Legislator (2023–24) and Hostel Legislator (2024–25).
He also contributed to an IOE-funded research project titled "Impact of Skilled Labour Force on Rural Transformation: A Study of Selected Districts in Bihar," where he worked as a Research Associate. His broader academic goal is to contribute to evidence-based policy in industrial development and labor market transformation.
