About Me

Hello! This is Debjit Kundu. I am currently pursuing my PhD as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF) under the guidance of Dr. Mahesh V. Panchagnula at the Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Prior to joining IIT-M, I did my B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Currently, I am researching in the field of pulmonary fluid mechanics which has become extremely pertinent in these times of ongoing pandemics caused by airborne viruses. My other research interests include numerical modelling of fluid flows, combustion & multi-phase flows and the applications of data science in these fields.
