Open SPR is a surface plasmon resonance based sensing device with the sensitivity down to ng/ml.
This Fiber optic Spectrometer is of Ocean Optics make. The model number is USB4000 XR1 ES. The specification of the Grating is as follows: It is 31, 500 lines/mm, blazed at 250 nm; The Spectral Range is from 200-1025 nm(UV – Vis-NIR); The dimension of the entrance slit is 25 µm; The Full Width Half Maximum is 1.7-2.0 nm;(Refer Ocean optics site for detailed specifications)
This is a Sandvic make Honeycomb Breadboard of dimensions 120 cm X 90 cm; It consists of a rigid table support for conducting optical experiments. The surface is of stainless steel with a rectangular grid of tapped holes, where the optical components are placed properly, to avoid movements.
The Light source is from Ocean Optics. The model number is HL – 2000. It is optimized for the VIS-NIR (360 nm-2000 nm) with adjustable focusing of the SMA 905 connector to maximize light coupling into a fiber. A fan keeps the source cool and stable. A built-in filter slot accepts optical filters up to 25.4-mm round or up to 50.8-mm square and up to 3 mm thick.
Fiber optic coupler: Microscope objective (Alco make) with magnification 45X, numerical aperture 0.67, tube length 160 mm and the cover glass thickness is 0.17 cm. Fiber holders held by XY positioner against the objective. The other optomechanical components include : XYZ Translation stage for precise positioning in all three dimensions, The XY Fiber positioned would help positioning in two dimensions, the kinematic Fiber positioner is also for alignment of the optical fiber. The Optical Fiber cutting Block helps in slicing the fiber into pieces of necessary length.
Upright microsope from Radical, RXLr-4IT with 4X, 10X, 40X, 100X Objectives. It has transmission and reflectance mode. It has a CMOS detector with 3.15 mp resolution, 35 fps frame rate and 10 bit A/D convertor.
Three Lasers are available of 532, 650 and 785 nm wavelength. 785 nm Laser has power control. A line Laser of 532 nm wavelength is also available.
