Copyright and Fair Use

Copyright: Original works created by an original creator. Copyright is a type of personal property that protects what belongs to an original author/creator. Websites, books, television series, and music can all by copyrighted. In order to copy and share another person's work you must ask for permission.

Fair Use: tells us what we can use from another person's work. Creates a set of rules so that we can safely use other peoples' ideas without getting into trouble.
