How would you describe your students?
Our students are diverse, encouraging, and successful. They do not all fit into one category, and that is how we want it. Our students are unique in their own ways, each of them are their own individual. They love to learn and enjoy learning activities.
What are the school hours?
How many students are in one class?
In each grade there are about ten classrooms, in each classroom there are roughly 24-26 students.
Is there transportation provided to and from school?
Yes, there is transportation provided. We have bus routes all through town that your student can come to school on, and leave school on. The drivers are certified and the routes are throughout the town. If your student does not have a bus route near them, please contact the school at (888)456-7890.
How do I apply for a position at this school?
To apply for a teaching or helping position at Arkansas Public School you will need to come up to the main office to receive an application. The school's website also has the application under "Employees". You can either bring your application back or submit it online.
How can I, the parent, be more involved in my students school?
There are many ways for parents to become more involved in the school. There are many ways you could volunteer, we have many events that require parent volunteers. We also have a "parent program" that is a workshop for teachers to help them understand how they can help their students at home. If you would like to become involved with either of these please contact your students teacher or the school at (888)456-7890.
Does this school have an after care program?
Yes, but due to COVID-19 we had to revise this program. Students can stay after school with Mrs. Forge until 5:30 all five school days, no additional cost.
What is the cut-off age for K?
The cut-off age for Kindergarten at Arkansas Public School is any child born after July 31st, 2015 this year. Children usually start Kindergarten at age 5.
