Welcome!

The library is open every day before school (7:45-8:20), after school on Weds & Thurs (til 3:00), and at break and lunch. 

You may check out two books at a time. Graphic novels and Manga can be checked out for one week. All other books can be checked out for two weeks.

If you can't find a book in the catalog (see 'search for a book' in the menu above), try Sora which can be accessed through your Clever account.    

3D Printing Instructions

Email jpatrone@slusd.us to sign up! 

Then, if you have a computer, follow the directions below:

Creating Your 3D Model (Day One)
1) Enter tinkercad.com in the address bar. 

2) Choose ‘Sign Up’ in the top right corner and hit ’Personal Account’

 3)  Click on the ‘G’ for google. 

4) Sign in with your school email. Register a new account - You don’t have to use your real birthday.

5) Once on the tinkercad page, click the ‘+ Create’ tab and ‘3D Design’ on the dropdown menu.

6) You will then be taken to the workspace. Experiment with dragging and resizing shapes. The more mistakes you make, the quicker you’ll learn 🙂
7) When you are finished creating, click ‘Export’ (top right), then .STL. You’ll see a pop up that shows your design has been downloaded.

8) Open your gmail and in the ‘to’ space write jpatrone@slusd.us

9) Choose the paperclip at the bottom of your message, go to Downloads, and click on your .STL file. It will have a funny name like ‘Incredible Doohicky’

10) Send!

Printing Your 3D Model (Day Two)
1) On the 3D Desktop, open Print Studio and Import your file (blue plus sign)               

2) Choose ‘Scale to Fit’ and then decrease scale to 70%
3) Follow path (‘auto repair’ as needed)
4) Rename file (G3yourname) and save back onto jump drive
5) Make sure there is enough filament loaded (should be at least 1” deep) 

6)Prepare the printer with blue tape and glue.
7) Print! (these pendants should be done in 30 minutes or less)
