Nancy E. Lewis, Ed.D is an Instructional Coach with the Hazelwood School District. She is primarily responsible for working directly with middle school teachers providing coaching and instructional support. Additionally, she works with a team to plan and implement professional development in curriculum, instructional practices and district initiatives for teachers and staff. This is Nancy’s fourth year with STEM TQ. Further examples of facilitation experiences are District New Teacher Induction Program Facilitator, Problem-Based Learning Professional Development, and YWCA So-Reel Series on Race and Education presenter. After earning her B.S. in Mass Communications/Television and Radio from SIU Edwardsville, Nancy obtained her certification in Elementary Education, grades 1-8. She received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. Prior to coaching, Nancy taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 6 in both public and private schools. She has also worked in the corporate setting.
