Beverly Velloff EdS has a strong commitment to educational equity and currently spends her time as the STEM Coordinator for The School District of University City. She works with building administrators, teachers, staff, community members and grade level teams to provide on-going job embedded professional development-always connected to curriculum and keeping students in the center. Her extensive experience includes multidisciplinary projects, intervention strategies, group collaborations, and STEM & curriculum model designs. Prior to being a Curriculum Coordinator, she was a math coach, math specialist, and a classroom teacher. She has been an educator for 23 years. Beverly earned her B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Gender Studies. She has a Master in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction and holds her Education Specialist degree. Beverly presents professional development at the building, District, and state level and continues her professional growth by attending classes at both, Washington and Webster University. She is a member of STOM, NCTM, NSTA, and MCTM. She feels passionate about inspiring all to be STEM capable learners.
