Oral Presentation Schedules

Directions for Presenters

Here you will find the schedule for Individual Oral presentations and Interdisciplinary Panels. All student presenters should Check-In at the Wool Ball Room. 

For the Oral Presentations, each room is scheduled for 50 minutes, and will be facilitated by a faculty or staff moderator. Please plan on arriving at least 5 minutes before your panel begins to set up. Please plan on delivering a 10-minute oral presentation. You may bring a visual presentation to support your oral presentation if you wish, but please bring it on a flash drive so that it can easily be accessed on the room computer (pulling it up online will take a long time). Each speaker will be given an additional 5 minutes after their presentation for questions. The moderator will help you stay on time and will invite questions from the audience. 

For the Interdisciplinary Panels, the focus of the session will be on teasing out conversation between 4-5 researchers from different fields. The intent is not for each of you to give separate presentations, but to introduce your work and then converse with each other. This year, the panel will be at 3:00 PM in BSC 254. Please plan on arriving a few minutes before the start time. This hour-long session will be guided by prompts sent to students via email.
