SLU APSA provides monetary travel awards to SLU medical students for outside conference attendance/presentation at the regional and national APSA yearly conferences!

Brady Chrisler: This funding was instrumental for my attendance at the AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting. Without it I wouldn't have been able to experience my first national conference and grow as a learner, researcher, and physician. Presenting next to other medical students from the likes of Harvard, Duke, and Vanderbilt gave me perspective on the importance of my research and gave me confidence to keep pursuing my research goals. Notification of decision will be sent by March 4th.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Awards granted to SLU Medical Students
For use at National or Regional APSA Meetings only
Required attendance at a minimum of 1 SLU APSA event during the academic year at time of award
Funds will serve as reimbursement for in-person attendance/presentation only
Students may receive up to 1 award/year
Students presenting will be prioritized for funding
