Prior to earning my PhD, I worked as a management consultant for the Federal consulting arm of Booz Allen, working on a wide range of projects across the civil government space.
While in graduate school and afterwards, I worked along side my advisor, Dr. Manny Teodoro, on a variety of consulting projects. Through these projects we used the science of policy analysis to calculate affordability metrics for water utilities, review state-level policies on assistance programs, and more.
I also spent time as a Presidential Management Fellow for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), working in their evaluation group in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation. Here I helped craft thoughtful evaluations of complex health programs by applying the latest researech in program evaluation to the problems facing HHS.
Through my consulting work with Dr. Teodoro and my time working for Booz Allen, I have endeavored to apply rigorous academic research to the problems facing cities, water utilities, and the Federal government.
Let's work together!
