At the end of the class, students should be able to:
Recognize when a factual scenario describes a potential violation of employment discrimination laws.
Develop arguments using statutes, regulations, precedent, theory animating those sources of law, and contemporary and historical social evidence.
Apply the appropriate proof structures to a factual scenario, recognizing that sometimes, more than one proof structure may be a possible route to liability
Link appropriate defenses to each proof structure and identify the defenses that may be available for a factual scenario
Explain how to pursue an employment discrimination claim, how to defend an employment discrimination claim, and how to prevent discrimination in the workplace.
