COVID: Decoded
An interdisciplinary virtual conference for students
An interdisciplinary virtual conference for students
10:00 AM - 5:00PM Central Standard Time
Designed by students for students, our conference will look at the impact and projections of COVID-19 with an interdisciplinary perspective, designed to engage participants outside of their specific field of study. While preparing to enter professions in this uncertain time, we are looking to be informed and readied for the road ahead.
Our speakers (each an expert in their field) will go in depth with different topics, such as COVID-19’s impact on the economy, mental health, social work, education, the microbiology of the virus, and the current status of treatments and vaccine development. There will be an opportunity for moderated Q&A after each presentation. The goal of the conference is to educate, inform, and encourage our peers facing the new era of health care head on.
