Cura Personalis / CP 2 Overview
Experiences that satisfy the Cura Personalis 2 requirement guide students in a structured process of reflection and discernment informed by or in dialogue with the Ignatian tradition. These non-credit-bearing experiences invite students to envision a clearer sense of who they are and how they might contribute to their communities by considering how their values and calling shape their vocational aspirations.
Think of Cura Personalis 2 as a "pause" button for students - a chance to step back and contemplate. These experiences should provide them dedicated time and space to reflect on how their experiences thus far at SLU (and outside of SLU) are contributing to their personal development, including values clarification, vocational discernment and resiliency-building.
Cura Personalis 2 experiences may either be a part of an existing course or can be an out-of-class co-curricular program facilitated by a faculty or staff member with a Masters degree or higher. Note that all Cura Personalis 2 experiences are 0 credits.
