Yes! While there are certain components of the course that are required - for example, each module has one required activity/reading/etc. - it is up to the individual faculty member to construct the course as desired to meet each of the four learning outcomes.
Each of the four module pages on this site contains a list of potential topics, activities and readings. All of these can be found on the Resources website, a shared Google folder that all CP1 instructors have access to.
Yes! Similar to UNIV 101, staff members with a Master's degree (or higher) in any field may teach a standalone section of Cura Personalis 1. Staff will receive a $1,250 stipend for teaching a CP1 course.
Faculty and staff teaching CP1 are encouraged to have an undergraduate teaching assistant to provide additional guidance and mentorship to students in the class. CP1 teaching assistants will receive a $400 stipend.
Yes, faculty members are welcome to teach a 1 credit, standalone CP1 section. If the course places a faculty member on overload, the faculty member will receive a $1,250 stipend.
Yes! CP1 instructors are welcome to partner with a faculty member teaching a different course in any discipline and link the two, meaning the same students will be enrolled in both courses. This can be a great way to build more community amongst the students.
Not necessarily - while the order of modules is currently structured in a developmental manner, they can certainly be rearranged to suit the needs of the instructor/students.
